A few days later, in similar circumstances in Krakow is killed watchmaker. The investigation takes the captain Zawada Headquarters MO. With the previously collected materials only result is that both shots fell from the same weapon. Besides, nothing in common victims of the mysterious crime, the lack of any motives. Meanwhile, the killer once again makes itself felt. The victim becomes the director of the Institute of Automation in Wroclaw. Again, no one saw the murderer and his motives remain unknown. Then comes a report from Torun, where he killed a young lineman. Zawada immediately goes to the scene of the crime and organized action. Begin searching in Torun hotels, patrol police surround the cemetery, where the funeral is to take place of the victim. During this action, the captain comes up with a new track. By controlling one of the private lodging, draws attention to the doll, which she was a girl, the daughter of owners of the apartment, the man uses the accommodation. The man had reported the owner of the house, he went to Krakow. This murderer will soon be included in his own apartment in Krakow. It turns out the inspector cooperative manufacturing dolls - the date of inspection trips and crimes confirm his guilt.
